VougaPark participates in the Iberian Meeting of Science and Technology Parks in the Azores

VougaPark was present at the XIII Iberian Meeting of Portuguese and Spanish Science and Technology Parks, which took place on the 21st and 22nd of November.

S. Miguel, in the Azores, was the setting for this Iberian meeting and also for the celebration of TecParques' 20th anniversary. This initiative aimed to promote synergies between Spanish and Portuguese parks.

The opening session was attended by the President of the Autonomous Government of the Azores, Vasco Cordeiro, the Mayor of Lagoa, Cristina Calisto, the President of TecParques, Paula Grijó, the President of APTE Felipe Romeras and the President from the Board of Directors of Nonagon, António Machado. The program continued with the “Park Flirt”, presentations from the Spanish and Portuguese science and technology parks, with the aim of detecting possible synergies between them to develop twinning programs, with VougaPark presenting its values, and the characteristics of the region and areas to the audience.
