This week, Vougapark held the final bootcamp of 2025, dedicated to Finances and Well-Being: Balance for Success. The two-day programme invited participants to reflect on financial decisions, life management and strategies that help entrepreneurs build stability and grow sustainably.
On the first day, Rita Piçarra shared the journey that allowed her to retire at the age of 44, highlighting key decisions that transformed both her professional and personal path. During her session, she left participants with three essential pieces of advice:
“I leave you with three major pieces of advice: first, be ambitious — ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?’ Second, don’t neglect your health, and third, take care of your finances. It takes a lot of work to earn money, so don’t fail to control it.”
The session concluded with a book signing of A Vida Não Pode Esperar, where Rita guides readers towards financial independence.
On the second day, José Rocha offered a practical perspective on investments, planning and conscious financial decision-making. He emphasised the importance of balancing expenses and savings, stating:
“Well-being happens when we have a financial cushion, and what makes that cushion possible is balance in our accounts. When we know what we can spend and what we must save, saving in percentages.”
The bootcamp closed Vougapark’s 2025 training calendar, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to fostering knowledge and supporting the holistic development of entrepreneurs in the region.
