The Municipality of Sever do Vouga was represented by Councilor Paula Coutinho and Andreia Fonseca, head of Vougapark – Innovation Center.

During the event, participants visited the University of Madeira and Startup Madeira, where they got to know local projects and discussed programs supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

We also visited the Artificial Intelligence Center.

Topics discussed included the diversity of incubators, their challenges and opportunities, with a special highlight on the experience of IERA – Business Incubator of the Aveiro Region, presented by Adriana Costa.

The meeting also featured workgroups focused on strategies to boost the collective impact of incubators, and panels on collaborative innovation, such as the successful case of eGames Lab.

At the closing session, the discussion centered on the relationship between incubators and universities, and how to strengthen the creation of startups in the market.

The event fostered the exchange of ideas, challenges, and solutions, reinforcing collaboration among incubators and contributing to the future of Portugal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
