IncubX, the national incubator meeting promoted by Startup Portugal, took place on 25 and 26 September 2025 in Sines, Alentejo, bringing together incubators from across the country and international guests for two days of debate, knowledge sharing and the creation of new partnerships.

The new platform unveiled during the event will bring together startups, SMEs and large companies by creating a digital space where startups can showcase their technologies and solutions, while established companies share the innovation challenges they face. The goal is to facilitate the match between supply and demand, enabling the development of pilot projects and open innovation initiatives, and generating new business opportunities.

The event also featured the presentation of Startup Portugal’s new executive director, Miguel Aguiar, who reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to strengthening the national incubation ecosystem and supporting the internationalization of entrepreneurs.

The agenda included discussions on the priorities of the incubation ecosystem, internationalization and the Taskforce First Ticket, dedicated to financing strategies for startup development. It also featured the panel “From Alentejo to the World,” which highlighted local initiatives with global impact, as well as the exchange of European best practices with representatives from incubators in Lithuania, Germany, Ukraine, Estonia and Spain.

Vougapark was represented by Project Manager Andreia Fonseca, who highlighted the impact of the event: “We returned from Sines with new ideas, inspiration and renewed energy to support entrepreneurs. The exchange of experiences between incubators strengthens our ability to provide more effective solutions aligned with international trends.”

With the launch of the new platform and the diversity of topics addressed, IncubX consolidated its position as a space for cooperation and innovation, reinforcing the role of incubators as drivers of business development in Portugal.
