The conversation about innovation is not built on technology alone, it’s built on management, strategy, and the people who hold the ecosystem together every single day. With this perspective, Andreia Fonseca, Project Manager at Vougapark, took the stage at Brazil Tech Days, an event organized by Cais do Porto at the Centro de Congressos de Aveiro last Friday. Her contribution brought a necessary reflection on the role of management in the Aveiro Region.
The discussion also included Adriana Costa (University of Aveiro Incubator) and Sandra Figueiredo (Albergaria-a-Velha), moderated by Marcela Valença (Cais do Porto).
The starting point of the conversation was a distinctive reality in the territory: around 90% of the incubators in the Aveiro Region are led by women. A characteristic that shapes how the ecosystem collaborates, supports entrepreneurs, and generates impact.
“Bringing this topic to the stage is essential because the way we manage the ecosystem directly influences the strength, stability, and future of innovation in the region.”
The debate reinforced the importance of giving visibility to the work of incubators and to the management practices that sustain the region’s economic and technological development.
