16-01-2026
On 23 January 2026, Vougapark will host VougaConnect, an event dedicated to reflection and debate on two key concepts shaping today’s labour market: Upskilling and Reskilling. In a context marked by rapid technological change and increasing professional volatility, the initiative offers an integrated perspective on how individuals and organisations can prepare for present and future challenges.
Throughout the day, invited experts will share practical and scientific insights on lifelong learning, professional reskilling and adaptation to change. The programme brings together contributions from education, science and the business sector, encouraging in-depth discussion on skills development as a strategic driver of competitiveness and sustainability.
The morning programme includes a contextual keynote focused on the relationship between cognitive processes, learning and the acquisition of new skills, introducing a neuroscientific perspective applied to Upskilling and Reskilling. This is followed by two thematic panels exploring how these strategies are implemented in educational and corporate contexts.
More than an informational event, VougaConnect is designed as a space for collaborative learning, dialogue and networking, aimed at teachers, trainers, business leaders and professionals interested in understanding and anticipating the transformations of the world of work.
The event will take place at Vougapark, in Sever do Vouga, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and invites all interested participants to take part in this collective reflection on the future of skills.
