Meeting gathered representatives of science and technology parks to approve the 2025 accounts and discuss the network’s strategic priorities for the coming years

VougaPark – Centro de Inovação attended the General Assembly of TecParques – Associação Portuguesa de Parques de Ciência e Tecnologia, represented by project manager Andreia Fonseca.
The meeting took place at LISPOLIS – Pólo Tecnológico de Lisboa and brought together representatives from several science and technology parks across Portugal. The main objectives of the session were the approval of the 2025 accounts and the presentation of the association’s activities carried out during the past year.
During the meeting, TecParques’ activity report was presented, highlighting the association’s participation in several national and international events. These initiatives are considered essential for strengthening the visibility and positioning of the Portuguese network of science and technology parks.
Among the international initiatives mentioned were institutional visits to Beijing within the framework of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, the global network of science and technology parks headquartered in Málaga. Developments related to partnerships with technology parks in Saudi Arabia were also discussed.
The General Assembly also provided an opportunity to discuss strategies and priorities for the future of the network, reinforcing the importance of cooperation between science and technology parks in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and the internationalisation of the Portuguese technology ecosystem.
The session also included a presentation of the LISPOLIS innovation ecosystem, showcasing some of its companies, spaces and activities.
