VougaPark: The Engine of Economic Transformation of Sever do Vouga
The Economic Development Plan 2025–2030 Has Been Unveiled

On 30 July 2025, during FicaVouga — the municipality’s largest cultural and economic event, now in its 34th year — the Mayor, Pedro Amadeu Lobo, presented the Economic Development Plan 2025–2030, with a vision to transform Sever do Vouga into a sustainable innovation hub that leverages its natural, human and business resources.
The role of VougaPark is central to this strategy. Our Project Manager, Andreia Fonseca, introduced:
- New Visual Identity: a colour palette and design evoking the landscape of the Vale do Vouga;
- New Website: an intuitive interface, up-to-date content and dedicated sections for projects, investors and events;
- New Institutional Video: showcasing all the strengths of our region to attract entrepreneurs and investors;
- Trailer for the VougaTalks Podcast: premiering in September, featuring real stories of innovation, resilience and business growth.
We also had the honour of hosting the Secretary of State for the Economy, Eng. João Rui Ferreira, who toured our facilities and learned in detail about the infrastructure and services we offer to both national and international entrepreneurs.
VougaPark invites everyone interested to explore our new website and YouTube channel, sign up for our initiatives, and become part of an ecosystem poised to attract investment, create skilled jobs and strengthen the territorial cohesion of Sever do Vouga.
